How much can you do in one day?
Tuesday doesn't have much claim to fame. It's not the first or last day of the week. It's not hump day (or Prince Spaghetti Day if you're in my generation) and it was never deemed the "must see TV" night. It's just the day between Monday and Wednesday.
We'll, our Tuesday today was the totally too many tasks to do time.
We took a math test and a spelling test. We tried to work in our new Google Drive Accounts on iPads for the first time in our classroom. Usually we do this on Chromebooks in the lab. This was an "interesting" experiment, especially doing it in a center while others were making kites in another center. Then we had lunch in the classroom followed by an assembly with Clara Barton. We made it outside by the end of the day just in time to fly our kites. (I don't think Mrs. Sturtz is speaking to me.)
I think I understand why boring Tuesday exists now. It's a gift really. We need a day with no grand expectations to help even out the rest of the week.
Clara Barton is a Massachusetts native. You can visit her home in North Oxford, MA
